Our WorkBC Centre Parksville provides free employment assistance and support for job seekers and employers in the Oceanside area and surrounding communities. We are conveniently located right across the street from the Community Park in downtown Parksville.
When you visit us, you can expect friendly and personalized service to support your employment-related goals. Whether you meet one-to-one with an employment consultant, participate in one of our many workshops or use our self-serve resources, we have something just for you! As a job seeker, you will have access to computers, printers, faxing, photocopying, job-search-related telephone messaging services, Internet access and the ability to apply for jobs online. Our team want you to be successful in your job search!
Depending on eligibility, other WorkBC supports and services are available such as training, skills assessments, wage subsidy, self-employment services and customized job placement.
If you are unemployed or are precariously employed and would like to get started, you can apply online through WorkBC employment services, call to make an appointment, or drop by our office. If transportation is an issue, online advising can be made available. We’ll work with you to ensure you meet your employment goals!
